HOW DO I SCHEDULE AN APPOINTMENT?
You can call me at (336) 314-9441 and I will respond as soon as possible to discuss scheduling an appointment.
I like to do a phone consultation prior to the first appointment to ensure I am a good fit for you. There is no charge for the consultation.
DO YOU ACCEPT INSURANCE?
I am an in-network provider for the following insurance companies:
Blue Cross Blue Shield
Carolina Behavioral Health Alliance
I am considered out-of-network with other insurance companies. Many of my clients utilize their out-of-network (OON) insurance benefits and are reimbursed for a portion of their out of pocket costs. I am able to provide you with the appropriate documentation required to submit to your insurance company for reimbursement (called a Superbill).
The best way to determine what your insurance benefits would be for therapy is to call your insurance company directly. You can usually find the number on the back of your insurance ID card (if there’s a specific Behavioral Health number, call that one). When you call ask about your “outpatient, out-of-network, mental health benefits”.
There are many factors to consider when utilizing your insurance benefits to help pay for therapy, including your privacy and access to care. Insurance companies can (and will) limit the number of sessions that are covered, and request copies of therapy notes. Additionally, if you choose to utilize either your in-network or out-of-network benefits, I will be required to provide you with a mental health diagnosis (ex: Depression, Adjustment Disorder, Anxiety, etc…) to prove “medical necessity” for therapy.
WHAT ARE YOUR FEES?
The Intake Session (75 to 90 minutes): $225
Individual session (60 to 75 minutes): $200.
WHAT FORMS OF PAYMENT DO YOU ACCEPT?
Payment is expected at the time of service and I accept all major credit cards including HSA and FSA cards, cash and personal checks.
WHAT IS YOUR CANCELATION POLICY?
I have a 24-hour cancelation policy, and if you cancel your session less than 24 hours in advance you will be charged the full fee for the session.
